The Breast Cancer unit at the easily accessable Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester, is under threat of closure due to finacial cutbacks. Patients will then have to travel long distances to the congested town Poole for all treatments which will result in poorer service and avoidable delays in diagnosis and treatment.

Extensive fund raising enabled us to have a new chemotherapy unit at Dorchester, which was only opened in April by a local celebrity.

A protest march has been organised on Tuesday 1st December at 10am starting from the main entrance to Dorset County Hospital.
