Jacqui has wanted to do something to help others living under the
shadow of breast cancer, and future generations, ever since she was diagnosed
with it herself at the beginning of 2006. She has been a valued member
of our forums since March 2006.
These tracks were recorded while waiting for a mastectomy needed for a second tumour and she will be receiving chemotherapy before the CD is released.
Please help Jacqui, and songwriter Mike, realise their dream. ALL profits from the CDs will be going to Breast Cancer charities - mainly Genesis Appeal and the Princess Royal Hospital Breast Cancer Fund in TELFORD. The first 12 weeks of downloading will also be for charity.
Jacqui married her childhood sweetheart and they have 3 grown up children of 22, 21 and 18 and 2 grandchildren. She has always sung but never aspired to do so professionally.
This CD was made at the urging of friends who put her in touch with songwriter Mike Macdonald Taylor who offered to help when he heard the CD was to be for charity.
The money to produce the CDs has been raised by her friends.
Mike was a gymnastic coach until confined to a wheelchair after a bike accident 10 years ago. He has been writing songs for 20 years now so this is part of his lifes work that he is donating to charity.
